DIG THIS! about Cauliflower:
French marigolds planted in your garden not only look beautiful but can help repel many garden pests that can ruin your harvest. Plant liberally throughout your garden, except around beans and cabbage plants, and they will help keep the bugs away from your cauliflower.
Broccoli and cauliflower are the only vegetables that are also flowers! Do not cook cauliflower in aluminum or iron pots. They can react to the metals and change color. If boiling this vegetable, add a tablespoon of lemon juice to the water to keep the cauliflower white.
